Starting SOLIS

It was July 2024. Liv and Cameron were staying in the middle of nowhere in Malaysia, with no internet, no street lamps and no reflective running gear. They were getting ready for an evening run and realised how invisible they were. Liv had just complained about how badly her running shorts fit and joked, “I could design these better myself."

That moment sparked an idea.

That same night, they sketched the first SOLIS logo. Over the next few days, the idea kept growing. Liv started sketching early designs, rethinking the fit and function of every piece. During their search for reflective run wear, they quickly realised that apart from a few collections, there was nothing that truly stood out.

So they decided to create it themselves...

What began as a personal need quickly revealed itself to be a much bigger problem in the running world. Through late-night research and conversations with fellow runners, Liv and Cameron learned this wasn’t just a problem for them. It was something the wider running community was asking for too.
