Running Towards Better
At SOLIS, we believe performance shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet, or the people who help bring our vision to life. As a young start-up, we’re still at the beginning of our sustainability journey, but from day one we’ve made conscious choices to do better where we can.
Where We Are Now
Paper packaging: Every order is shipped in recyclable paper packaging, no unnecessary plastic mailers or extras.
Thoughtful production: Our first collection is small-batch, avoiding overproduction and waste.
Timeless design: We create reflective running wear built to last, not fast fashion trends.
Why Polyester?
Sportswear is different from everyday clothing, it needs to move with you, wick away sweat, stay lightweight, and last through countless runs. For these reasons, polyester is currently the most effective fabric for running wear. While it’s not perfect from an environmental standpoint, it ensures our products perform at the highest level for runners.
People First
Sustainability isn’t only about materials, it’s about people too. We believe everyone involved in making SOLIS should work in safe conditions and be treated with respect. As we grow, we’re committed to partnering only with manufacturers who uphold fair labour practices and ethical standards, ensuring that the people behind our products are valued as much as the runners who wear them.
Where We’re Going
Future fabric innovation: We’re committed to exploring new material technologies and fabric inventions that balance performance with sustainability.
Responsible manufacturing: As we grow, we’ll continue to work with factories that meet strong ethical and environmental standards.
Circularity: Long-term, we’d love to introduce recycling initiatives for worn-out SOLIS pieces, giving them a second life.
Every choice we make is a step towards a future where running is safer, more inclusive, and lighter on the planet.
